As an etiquette advisor specializing in personal branding, Janika LeMaitre helped business owners and industry trailblazers fine-tune their reputations. Her experience spans over twenty years, working for globally recognized brands, including five-star, five-diamond hotels, an international airline, and luxury retailers. Her love of travel has enabled her to take positions in Australia, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States of America.
 
Along her journey, LeMaitre learned the importance of adapting to her surroundings through personal brand evolution. Reinventing herself, she followed her instincts and established The Better Professional®, based in Greater Boston, USA, for clients who wanted to polish how they present themselves to the world. In 2025, LeMaitre took a step back from advising and self-published her book The Polished Persona.

LeMaitre holds certifications with the Yale School of Management, the Protocol School of Washington, and the British School of Excellence. In addition, she is a member of the Protocol & Diplomacy International - Protocol Officers Association and serves on several boards, including Ready Inspire Act and Women's Business Group Connects. In 2024, LeMaitre received the honor of becoming a Paul Harris Fellow in recognition of her contributions to Rotary International.
